I decided since I'm eating alone, that I'd make Bourbon Steak with Mushrooms, Grilled Texas Style Garlic Bread, and late season California Asparagus and a nice glass of Merlot.

Well tonight the kids had sausage casserole with green beans and baked potatoes then Clotted cream rice pudding. Tomorrow its Chicken with chestnut stuffing, Cauliflower and broccoli gratin, their favourite parsnips (Matt do you want some?!) spuds and chantenay carrots followed by Queen of Puddings cos they think they deserve it! ha!
