just sitting at work reading away at the posts and it dawned on me.........if i wasnt a CH then i would'nt be reading these posts,..........and if i wasnt a CH I would have been a RAAF pilot, (for some reason they dont want you to fly with a cluster or be a NSW fireman for that matter) and therefore unable to read these posts from work anyway....

It is up to YOU to educate yourself and then help your doctor plan your treatment. If you just sit down in front of your doctor and say "make me better" you are setting yourself up for a great deal of pain.

However......among us there is a total nut case of a man who with chronic CH walks the lines. On the Golden Gate Bridge. He is not sane, but we love him anyway. 
I wanted to be a nurse when I grew up. Almost got there, (6 credits away) but 7 kids and a distaste for algebra) got in the way.

i have undertaken flying lessons, no problems, but i think the whole CHead behind an F18 might freak them out.
too old (31!!!!) and broke to get pay for a full license to work as a pilot

I may grow old, but I absolutely refuse to grow up!
However, I would like to become a novelist, recognized musician, and a radio DJ.
In short, I think I've become what I wanted to, but had CH not wrecked me and other circumstances (my father dying and having to work fulltime to help mom and was playing out 3 nights a week, so school faded into obscurity) I had planned to go back to school to become (gasp) a english teacher. I wanted to be the kind of teacher I never had - that accepted all the kids and various stereotypes, and encouraged them. Kind of like the teachers I had in night school.
I think I would have made a pretty cool teacher, as teenagers like hanging around me and think I'm the coolest adult they know cause of my love for all kinds of music.
Which, one of my dreams is about to come true within a couple of weeks. I will be hosting my own internet radio show so.... I have to say I am becoming one of the things I wanted in life. Who knows? If the show becomes a success, I could get hired to a big network or something. Never limit the size of your dreams.
