Some beautiful pics on that page. I haven't see the Aurora Borealis since I was in the Air Force, stationed in Greenland in 1983-84.

I've always wanted to see the Aurora Borealis. I used to have a penfriend that lived in Yellowknife in the Northern territories and she used to send me photo's that made me long to go. Thanks Donna!

oh, our Northern Lights are spectacular. I was born in Northern British Columbia and I remember being able to not only see the magnificent colours, but you could also hear the lights too. Kind of a crackling, staticky sound - hard to explain unless you've experienced it. We're now in Southern Alberta, next province east and although we don't get to see them very often, if it's a cold clear night here, sometimes we can. My dad lived in Yellowknife, NorthWest Terriroties for about 20 years, Helen - it's gorgeous country up there, despite the fact that their mosquitoes are the size of helicopters!

It is so serene to see when I'm standing in our driveway at about 8:00pm in the cold, brisk winter air. Another one of the reasons to love where I live.

Saw them for 8 hours solid during an SFO-BOS flight a couple years ago. I think the rest of the people on the flight thought I was retarded the way I sat staring out the window with drool running down my chin. 'k, maybe they were right...

When I was younger, me and my parents went to Finnish Lapland during my winter vacation. I saw beautiful northern lights in there. Sanna
