Pink skies...

this morning....

They've now changed to more of a yellow hue.

Yesterday morning before I went to my dad's, I said outloud to my mom, "Mom, please stay with me today"...  Wouldn't you know it, the first box my dad pulls out of a closet had all her cookbooks and her recipe box in it.  I saw that box right away, pulled it out and just burst into tears.  5 years I've waited, wondering if it was still around and not taken or trashed, and it was there!  Nothing else mattered to me, and my dad looked astonished when he asked if there was anything else I wanted and I said "no".

Have a lovely Sunday everyone.   As for me, today is a good day for baking. Smiley

hugs,
mel
