Not enough time in the day any more!

It seems like that is what is lacking in life. I guess if we had more time it would be filled also.

I just wanted to say Hi to everyone. I miss everyone. I stop in and put my 2 cents in here and there. To really post any more I just can't find that time. I really try.

Life changes as we all know. When I first came here I had nothing to do except work on OUCH and make some wonderful friendships here. All my children had grown and were moving on. Then Deveny had JD and all our life changed. It is a good change, but leaves little time for some of the things I use to be able to do.

I home school my grandson and that has led to more things. I have met some home school Moms and we all get the kids together for all kinds of things. Field trips of all kinds. We are going to the new aquarium here in Atlanta next month, we plan a trip to the science center, we go to one place a moth.  Plus we all are good at something. I love math, another Mom is good at Music, another good in History and so on. We have one day a week we get together and we each plan different activities for the kids. Every other week end we get together for a ball game, or some kind of sports.  Plus now we have him taking karate. The night activities Mom does that and we all get involved with the week end things. Its fun for us all but doing all this and the house work leaves very little time for other things.

I miss everyone a lot, and I do read as many post as I can, I try to email or PM people when I can, none of you are forgotten, even though life has taken me in other directions, I have never lost my way to ch.com and to check on my friends. I might not post I am sending prayers and vibes, but I am. I think of the people here every day. I don't know a lot of the new people here and I am sorry for that, but I do read just about all the post, by the time I get to read them someone has already posted what I would have posted. I miss my friends and I miss getting to know the new people here.

I think of you all often !

Hugs to all and may God Bless!
Elaine

Rest assured Elaine you're thought of often too! Everytime I get my wallet out in fact (my little envelope is still going strong!) I always smile too when I see it and think of you so just remember you're loved and all is well  Smiley

TS, that little envelope that you sent me is sitting in my kitchen - I see it every day and think of you, too.

Your love for everyone here is eternal - we all know that.  JD is SO much the richer for having you home school him and that's much more important right now! I just hope you're not teaching him spelling.  Wink

LOL I forgot about that cup!  Smiley

Actually, I have noticed that your spelling has improved, E. Too bad that certain someone's not around to eat a little crow, huh?  I'd gladly serve it to him!  Wink

You're obviously a GREAT spelling teacher - JD's a lucky lil dude - in more ways than one!  But then, we already knew that about you - from our school days.  Right, Mrs. Holloman?

Ya'll are so sweet! Funny too Smiley

I think they are many things that bring all of you to my mind. I spent about four hours yesterday just reading post.

OK I have to brag on JD. He can spell a 114 words, he can count and pick out numbers and write them 1-100
He can print Great, and now he is working on cursive !
He loves sicence. He loves building things. Robots he is into. He can  add and subtract two numbers, and he knows how to check his own work.  He is only five years old.  We been teaching him since he was able to talk, he is real smart. His Mom was smart and in advance classes. He gets it from her. Oh he is learning spanish and so am I . His Mom is teaching us. The whole family is learning!

My typing is worst than my spelling.

Today and yesterday I was able to take a break  Teachers work day ! We have winter break coming up. I go by the public school calendar! Some times I swap a week off with another week. Like this month the public school takes off the week of the 9th, We will work that week and take off the week of the 23ed. Race week. It works for us.

Your right Margi, JD is worth all the work.

But I still miss all of you very much. I am hoping to see some of you at the next convention. Maybe if all goes ok I will make it to Davcon.

Just wanted you all to know I am still here still care and still read.

Got to go time to go outside and Play Smiley

Jackie, you know I always have time for the phone. I can clean cook and do most anything on the phone, kind of hard to type and cook and clean.

Jean miss ya lady, I have tried to call you but your phone is always busy.

Cootie Buddy and I are in Love again. Thats the other thing that has taken up so much of my time  Grin

Sean you made my coffee sweeter Thanks. I have written to you check your mail.

Your my TS too Linda, I still have the picture of you holding up underware ! Thats about as twisted as it gets LOL

Ree I miss you too hope you get to feeling better. JD is getting cuter, and the things he says some times just have me rolling with laughter.  At bed time he use to ask every five minutes if it was time for bed, he hates bed time. One night I said you know JD my dad use to tell me out of sight out of mind. I explained that if he was playing and not bugging us every five minutes about bed, he might find he stays up late. Well one night I was in bed and he came crying into my bedroom, when I asked what was wrong he said. Nana remember when you said out of sight out of mind, I said yes. He said well it don't work with Mom !!! I laughted bless his heart! He can be so funny.

Svenn I sure enjoyed the morning chat!

Damn I feel good this morning guess its the morning song and the great company I had this morning.

A wonderful way to start my day !

Elaine - it is so nice to hear from you and hear how busy you are - don't think I could do it all now.   Glad that you are all doing well.  Sure would love to see you again sometime - would love to get to a convention again but they seem to always be so far away!  Take care of yourself - and your family - hugs from me.....
