Guess where I was last night?...

Gordo surprised me with Eric Clapton tickets at the Madison Square Garden. It was awesome. He didn't do too much singing, lots of playing...had some other players with him - almost as good as him - almost. Even had this new band open for him, strictly blues...It was great (you would've loved it Jimi). I had never seen him live. Except for the married couple that kept making out infront of me and some young thing with fake boobs dancing in the aisle and getting in my view from time to time, it was an awesome experience. So now I get all the hype about him. Duh. Love, Langa

He's a hell of a survivor from his early era and great for a looong time. He just cancelled here on last Monday, under the weather I guess. My main floor thirteenth row ticket stub from '75 says $7.50. Quote:Even had this new band open for him |
| and Santana was the opening band. They played three songs together for the finale.

Yes I WOULD have loved it. Contrary to my namesake, I am a big Clapton fan. He may not be the best, but he is as good as I have seen. Good hearing from you. You owe Gordo BIG TIME.

Hi Langa, Did Eric Clapton do his "Superman" performance for you and Gordo at Madison Square Garden? Here's Langa when I body-painted her in the Virgin Islands a few years ago before she got a haircut and got married... Everyone here at the donut factory is wishing you all the best, Langa. BB

Sweet! I had front row tickets at the Garden in 1998. I was dating this chickie with a father who was a part of his management team. I had to hang on to that nut job for the tix
