Clusterheads in England

Well I've finally begun uploading some of my England photos to my flickr site. So being that meeting up with clusterbuddies was what really made this trip special, I uploaded an album called Clusterheads in England before uploading anything else. Here's the link: http://www.flickr.com/photos/neonursechic/sets/72157594298576119/ However, I thought I'd also share a few of my favorites, even though some of them are repeated from the other couple of threads we'd made: This one's for Nani. Helen told me she really liked these Twirl candy bars: Me and Helen on top of Clifford Tower in York, with York Minster in the background: I loved the red phone boxes and took pictures of them just about everywhere we went! If they knew, they wouldn't let the two of us near places like this! Matt (and Mary and Frieda) arrive in London, travel about 2 hours to Helen's house, and not 30 minutes after walking in the door, here he is on CH.com: Dape on the phone with Yorky: Jonny Salute #1 (Matt, Helen, Carrie, Dape) Clusterheads Meet Harry Potter at Platform 9 3/4: Helen and me at Westminster Station Subway Entrance...Standing at that corner, you could see Westminster Abbey, which is about 1000 years old, and if you walked left around the corner, you were staring up at Big Ben...what an awesome city! Helen and Matt on the Thames Boat Tour: Helen and me with Tower Bridge in the background: "Shhh...Don't tell him!" (Mike Pollock and Helen) Jonny Salute #2 (Carrie, Helen, Mike, Matt, and Tom)

Thanks Jimi!! I really did have an amazing time. I miss it - but I feel like I'm reliving it by sitting here and rearranging the pics! I know that Helen, Matt, Mary and Frieda went to Stratford Upon Avon and Stonehenge today (yesterday now for them since it's coming up on 6am there!), and I can't wait to see the pics they took and hear about what Matt, Mary and Frieda thought of it since I really loved it! One of the things that was so great about traveling England with Helen was that for one, she is a walking history book. That made it so much more interesting. And also, she and I both have the same very imaginative mind when looking at things...and the same interest in taking photos when we, for example, just like the way the light hits something! She never minded when I would say, "Hang on! I have to get a picture of this! Look at the light!!!" And vice versa... Not everyone would be like that! They'd be like, "Ok...enough already...come on...." I'm working on putting my pics up with each place as a separate album on my flickr photo page. Here's the link to the sets: http://www.flickr.com/photos/neonursechic/sets/ Just ignore the album called Random photos just for linking. That's all the pics from when I just used flickr in the way that most people use photobucket or shutterfly...to post pics here and on my blog. So far, I have the clusterheads in england album and the Bingham, Notts, UK album. Gonna go upload some more! Hugz, Carrie

I hope you don't mind, but Friday I framed the picture of you, Matt, & Helen, at the Harry Potter train stop, and two others of you & Helen, & hung them up in my cubicle at work. You guys are so damn cute, and I love the light. I also printed out from Helen's shoe box album some of the pictures similar to what you have here, and Shakespear's grapes, and some of the other ones where one of you caught the light. You & Helen made it almost like we could be there. Not quite - we didn't get the hugs, but almost. Charlotte

hi carrie...so you like the red phone boxes...did you know that they are rare now...in the rest of england? they now have these open phones(dont like them...but everyone has a mobile these days) about 15 years ago when they started removing the old red ones..one of my mates bought loads of them..he made a fortune turning them into shower cubicles.

Oh that last one is horrid! Of me at least!! Matt - for some reason, I don't have your pics from that night. Can you email them to me? Maybe they're on a cd that I missed or something, but I just realised last night that I don't have them. Were those other ones from Dover Castle? You leave tomorrow, right? Are you sad? I hope you've had a lot of fun!!! Give Helen a hug from me!! Hugz, Carrie

Matt gets on the internet a half hour after arriving at Helen's? LMAO! Now THAT is addiction! Now somebody's gotta start a CH.Com Anonymous group for those hopelessly addicted to this site. "Hi. My name is Matt and I'm a CH.Commer..." Me? No way! I am just a casual user. I can quit anytime I want (get's busted with CH.com on laptop....) "It's not mine, it's not mine officer."

Dape, Remember how red my face got when you made that comment about your son? Well....it's that shade again!! Jeez............ I did fall off the arm of the sofa, but it's actually Matt's fault since he was taking the picture quickly and I didn't have time to sit down properly!! Going to take a half hour nap now......I've been trying to take that nap for like 2 hours already, but I keep looking at pics and checking this thread. Stop keeping me up already!!! Say hello to Julie for me!

Its actually Kenilworth Castle Carrie, we went there and to Warwick Castle as well when we realised that time was getting too short to get to Stonehenge in the daylight. Tday we actually ended up at Skegness so that Freida and Mary could see the see - and we drove through Boston on the way! We looked for Jonny but couldn't see him anywhere This is starting to get a bit miserable now, its only a few short hours until Matt, Mary and Freida are on their way home and I'm dreading it. I've got lots of plans for seeing other clusterheads over the next few weeks, stuffed to busting with plans to be honest but - its not the same and I don't want all this to end....

Woobs I'm holding you to that I've just said goodbye to Matt, Mary and Freida and I'm as miserable as sin. I hate having to say goodbye, especially when its going to be so long before I see any of you again. These past two weeks with Carrie, Matt and Mary have just flown by, I swear time has grown wings because there is no way it should have gone this quick..

Awww... Helen, honestly, I cried on the plane too.... And I have felt sad so many times since getting back here, but in a happy way, too. I wouldn't have felt so sad if I hadn't had the time of my life!! I'm so glad I did this now at this point in my life, even though I told you about the credit card debt I obtained in the making. I could care less.... It meant so much to finally meet you in person...as well as Matt and his crew and all the other CH'ers I met over there!! You are like the sister I never had!! It was so funny to see how much we had in common. We already knew we were a lot alike, but you and I both said that there are a lot more things than either of us realized! If you read this sometime in the next couple of hours, either reply here or drop me a PM...or you can just call me. I was thinking about calling you, but it's only 6am there now, and I don't know if you're sleeping now. It's just 1am here, and I walked in the door about 10 minutes ago. Got hit at work tonight, and I tried ice and I had taken frova....nobody at work has ever seen me get hit before, so that was interesting. The last thing I want to do while getting hit is answer questions...which is why I wished I had those OUCH UK cards in my bag to work!! I still have a passion for that concept... But anyhow...I got one of our respiratory therapists to get me a nonrebreather mask and hook it up to a flow meter in our procedure room. Longer story than this, but it does provide liquid oxygen as I told you about the liquid O2 tanks that are behind the apartment building where I used to live. I asked one of the other respiratory therapists about getting liquid O2 for home, and she thought it would be possible. I'm going to call the O2 supplier tomorrow maybe and ask what I should do. I'm just very glad I got to see and use your liquid O2 to see how easy it is! Anyhow...let me know if you want to chat on the phone for a bit. I'll do my best to cheer you up! Thanks once again so very much for having me over and for making my vacation better than I could have ever hoped for! I keep telling people at work how we went over 2000 miles in 8 days! Dr. Silberstein was in the elevator with me when I was going up to work today, and I wanted to mention something to him about our adventures, but I was in a rush to get to work (arrived 4 minutes late) and was already having the twinges. Maybe I should bring a framed picture of us to my next appt since we're both sort of well known there! (For good reasons only, of course!) Bwahaha..... Hope Matt, Mary, and Frieda are having a good flight home. What time was their flight out of Heathrow? (What time your time, that is....) Were they flying through Canada again? Hugz, Carrie
