My Zoey (ok, she's almost 4) is such a puppy-kins! I can sit here at the puter, tell her I am cold and I need my slippers, and she goes upstairs to my bedroom and gets them for me!!! Either she is the ultimate in doggie, or I am the ultimate in lazy. I love my Zoe-Zoe.

She's a border collie, Australian shepherd mix and she is so cute and loving. I'll see if I can get one posted tomorrow. And one of my sweet Charlotte. She's my diva dog and she doesn't "do" slippers. Her job is to lay around, be old, fussy, and beautiful. Much like her mommy

I've wanted a dog for a long time now, but haven't been able to have one anywhere I have lived the past few years. However, they don't mind animals here in the ghetto since half of the tenants ARE animals, and a buddy of mines dog just had a litter of pups that are a strong lab mix. I already picked the one I want, I just have to figure out a few things, like getting his shots. Out of all of the pups (11) he is the only one whose ears point straight up. He is a cool lil pup. I almost got a dog year ago, but she went on to better things (long story but I have to share). I kept her awhile, and had her trained. I couldn't afford her shots, so I had to let "Stinker" go. She was a smart black lab with a white stripe down her neck that made her look like a skunk. It was about this time last year and I realized it was impossible for me to keep her, so my friend Michelle put out an ad for a good home. A family with neighbors in some countryland here in Illinois took her, and finished training her. She is great with kids and very playful. Very intelligent. However, she'd sneak off and they didn't know where she went. Come to find out, there was a guy with terminal cancer and only months to live, spent most of his time in bed and no one could really reach this guy. She wound up on his porch, and started coming around frequently. He would feed her, and take her for walks, but knew she belonged to someone else so did not keep her. This is the heaviest part... The family who took in Stinker was rehabbing an old John Deere tractor so they renamed her JD. The people who took her in found out about this guy and that JD had been 'motivating him' where no one else could, and that he had taken quite a liking to the dog. They told him that JD should remain with him, and let him keep her. I like to think that, though she was mine for a period, she went on to bigger and better things. Sounds like you got yourself a smart lil pup, and a friend for life. What kind of dog is it? Peace, Carl

I need your dog. I tell Homer my feet are cold - go get my slippers. He does AND TAKES THEM OUTSIDE AND CHEWS THEM UP! Then he comes in and lays on my feet (all 60 pounds of him!) Hugs BD

I wish I could teach my dogs to clean the kennels........wow would that ever be cool !!!The chihauhua's used to recycle and gobble it all up for me......but they barked too much 'non stop' so they got booted from my program. Pooinator Pam Carl......you can order shots online one at a time or few extra for about 7 bucks or maybe even closer to 10 bucks now days with shipping and all. And of course rabies ect are extra and you can order rabies in sum states but it won't hold up in court if a person is bit...but anyhow.......if ya KNOW it had it rabies shot at least ya know the person won't get sick. But you can order them online or go to a livestock supply store. (PBS.....Tractor Supply or Farm and Fleet has individual shots) I give my own shots.....about the only way a private small kennel can afford it actually but I take dogs or pets to the vets when needed or course !!!! The shot packs even explain how to give them under the skin and how often. That mite be an option if vet care is too much.....but a good yearly vet check is a good idea too tho don't get me wrong !!!!! Jeffer's Vet Supply is a good online co to work with and will send you a catalog. There's even good wormers you can get I use on all my pups and dogs when I don't have them on heartgaurd in winter.
