How the beast does it...?

Yesterday I was feeling upbeat and happy; satisfied with my first day at new job. Sure, 2 kip 2s did show up during work time, but I got rid of them. But when I got home, I got few more of them. Shadows were persistant and I turned irritated. When my flatmates came home in early hours, I was irritated enough to smack someone! So I did not exactly have the goodnight sleep I was hoping for. And when I woke up, shadows showed up within 5 minutes. Not my fave thing in the morning, I can tell you. Yesterday I thought, yeah, I can do this. I can do evening shifts, no problems. Now I think if I should ask my supervisor (before 5pm... ) how soon I can get into the day shift... because somehow the beast got me thinking about quitting - and this woman is no quitter! - aand slowly falling into the comfortable ch depression I've already got myself out of twice during my ch time. And I sure do not need any ch depression right now... I have a disseration and two essays to write! While I'm slowly getting into the panic mode, I might as well panic about my best supporter actually see me getting hit... he's been lucky enough to avoid it so far. I have no idea how he'd react then... he's been nothing but supportive, though. I do not need this right now... So beast, go to hell! I was hoping that you'd bug me sometime in October, if at all. Thanks for letting me get that out! I feel bit better now. Best wishes & PF time to us all, Sanna

Vent away, Sanna. That's a big part of what we do for each other here. And you are ususally one of the ones here to be doing the supporting, so don't feel bad about taking your turn. I'm glad you're feeling better. Changing routines can be stressful, even for non-CH'ers, so just give it a little time. Rest whenever you get a chance, so that you can give that dissertation all you've got.

Hon, if your supporter sees you get hit, then he does. Nothing you can do about it. Don't let the CH's get to you, you just deal with the hit when it comes, try to recoup and then go on with life. I am shadowing a lot right now, and I know that nasty jerk is going to disrupt my holidays...again...but I'm not going to let it control my PF time, no way, no how! I know what aresenol I need, and all it takes is 1 phone call to have O2 ready within a day. I have my Clustermasx & tubing, Kudzu and Taurine to go. You can do this hon, just try and take 5 min each day to focus on yourself, that means blocking everything else out. I do this each day to center myself. It helps! big hugs, melly
