I'm sorry we haven't been able to be in touch more, my flippin' modem fried itself and I'm having a new one put in today. Talk about timing huh?!
I'm using the old one at the moment, it sort of works for a minute before spitting its dummy out which it does every time I try to upload pics so that'll have to wait til later.
So far we've been to Sherwood Forest, a quick trip around Nottingham before heading to a pub. That was fun! Carrie tried to pay for a drink.. so I told the barman if he took her money I'd smash his face in - guess who got to pay?! I was very polite with it though and I did say "excuse me but.." before threatening discombobulation 
Saturday was spent in the historic and very beautiful city of York. We went up the old part of the castle before heading down medieval streets to the Minster which is the cathedral of York. Wait til you see the pics! (If this shaggin' engineer ever gets here  )
Sunday was spent at a World Headache Alliance meeting in London followed by the Migraine Action Trust meeting Carrie wanted to attend after which I took her on a brief drive around London before heading home again.
Yesterday we went to Stratford upon Avon, Preston on Soar, The Standing Stones of Avebury, Stonehenge, Cheddar Gorge and finally the regional meeting I had organised previously in Bridgewater. It was wonderful. It was a hell of a long drive home though!
I'll updat this with pics as soon as I've uploaded them and I'm about to start now!
