Yesterday's farmers' market was a delight of color. All I wanted was my winter supply of maple syrup, but the temptations were many.
It goes for 8 blocks around the capitol square
Capsaicin 
The vendors know how to get attention
Beets 'n flowers
Autumn mums
Nice merchandising
Indian corn
Last but not least

Oh Patti, what wonderful pictures!!! I bet it would be loads of fun to go to market with you. 
Mums are my absolute favorite and seeing the pics of the apples, blueberries (I thought they were grapes! lol) & cheese is makin me HUNGRY!!!

I suspected that...that's why I included the cheese pic.
Melly, mums are one of my favorites too. They're one of the few things that bloom in the fall for me.
Edited to add: LOL, the bee guy deserves a good slappin', but he sells a lot of honey cause of that hat.

Brewcrew just brought home a quart from a friend he works with whose family produces it - it's so incredibly yummy!
$8 a quart - does that compare to yours?

At $8 a quart, you did good! I like the "B"grade. I cook with it quite a bit, and my half gallon was $20.
