Sad Day for UK

Today was a Sad day for the UK, they brought home the bodies of the 14 service men killed when their plane crashed in Afganistan last week. This is UK biggest loss in one go since the Falklands. I know you and the Canadians too have lost many many young men in Iraq and Afganistan, so could we all spare some little time to think of their families left behind, their children, and of those who continue to stand in harms way for us. We will remember them Thank-you Roy

Sorry to read of what happened to those soldiers, they gave themselves to cover the cost of freedom.

No matter what side of the pond, losing our young men and women is a huge price to pay for freedom. My sympathies to all the families of all the people who have made the ultimate sacrifice. I wish it would end. Cathi

Our thoughts and prayers are with those families. A terrible price to pay, but all the service men and women have, and will always have, our deepest respect and admiration.
