OOOOO.

The mushrooms did me in.  I'm inordinately fond of mushrooms, and I'm not even a hobbit.

Salmon steaks grilled on cedar planks here, with butter and lemon.  Out-of-season asparagus (I know, I know).  Big Idaho bakers.

Cleaned out the fridge - it's leftover night. Grampa had Salisbury steak over noodles, I had Chicken and Dumplings, my bride had Eggs and an English Muffin (do they just call them "Muffins" in England?) with a bratwurst, and my son had the same thing as mama did.

Made some room in the fridge, that's for sure. Now we gotta figure out what we're gonna make for tomorrow.

Not a trigger out of cycle, no.  Thank goodness.  A world without wine would be a world without--well--wine.

Better save some for my daughter, too.  She likes mushrooms as well.

"I LOVE mushrooms", she just added.  She's reading over my shoulder.
