OK I went to a Uroligest (sp) Wenesday they took a x ray and a ultrasound. The doctors says, yep you have kidney stones. Then he says that he will need to do a IVP Friday (today) so he can see more. I had to take a laxitive last night , (that is still working). I went this moring for the IVP. He also took a urian sample. He found blood in the sample. He reads my IVP and says there is no stones. Now he wants me to go in on the 18th and go up in my bladder,. (where no man has ever gone). They have to put me to sleep to do it, but I understand they won't be cutting me. He said he wants to know why the blood in the urian. Now I am not a doctor but, I figure its because I passed the stones. I was in the bathroom all night last night, and I was about to stain any urian when that laxitive took hold, so I figure thats when I passed them. I have not had to have a pain pill all day. He also said he would not worry about that adrial mas that it was only 2 cm not big at all. What I am going to do is wait the week end out and if I am pain free through Wenesday I will call and cancel the bladder thing. If I am still in pain I will figure there is something else there and go ahead with the bladder. Donna H. I got your email, I thought I would just post here, no I have not heard one word from my primary Doctor. I called gave him the names of two doctors I wanted him to refer me to and I have not heard a word. I have already found a new Primary Doctor, and called the insurance company, I have to wait till October 1 st to see the new doctor. Thanks for all the prayers and calls!

It is up to YOU to educate yourself and then help your doctor plan your treatment. If you just sit down in front of your doctor and say "make me better" you are setting yourself up for a great deal of pain.

Sounds a lot better E. Take care of yourself though. Tests are not a bad thing so long as you proceed with caution if they want to dig away. Charlie

That's what I'd do too......not that I always do the RITE thing but I jus sumtimes wonder about all these specialist docs that ya get sent to.....I'm sure there all GOOD docs and all but they seem to be LOOKING for trouble in all the wrong places. I guess there jobs are to FIX things....so if they can't find a answer to a previous problem they look for sumthin else to fix that 'could' of caused it. If it checks out they do anouther test or procedure. Oh hell I dunno.....am sure sum things NEED checked out tho. Am hopein your no longer stoned Pam
