It is up to YOU to educate yourself and then help your doctor plan your treatment. If you just sit down in front of your doctor and say "make me better" you are setting yourself up for a great deal of pain.

Skype is free from here too - but so are my international phone calls or rather, they're included in the price I pay monthly so I prefer to phone. I can walk around the house with the phone or talk from anywhere, its lovely! I can't tell you how many times I've nearly strangled myself trying to talk on Skype (and NO! That doesn't mean you can all attempt to bump me off!  )
