Good to chase the Sad

Yesterday was my Aunts Funeral, and today the kids and my brother and I went to listen to some wonderful Jazz music at the 2nd annual Stevens Point Jazz Fest at Phiffner (sounds like pifner) Park Band Shell. Stevens Point Journal is a Sponsor, so we sat in the VIP section with free catered food and wine flowing like water, and Janet Planet Jazz Quintette... Her voice is impecable, the band flawless, and it was heavenly untill Dyl's allergies got the best of him, and he asked to come home. But here are some pics of Janet and her Band, it was a good 3 hours, would have liked to spend all night there, listening, but it was not to be. http://thumbsnap.com/v/SOHfC3hI.jpg http://thumbsnap.com/v/iqI8BZQn.jpg

I saw an act of faith today. A man was on his knees, not in a pew in a Church, but in a garden planting seeds. ~~Unknown

A buddy of mine, Chicago Bill, (he's a corporate sales Executive for Sentury Insurance and his Territory is the Chicago Metro Area, so he spends his work days golfing, dining and otherwise schmoozing big Chicagoland business associates...what a job huh... Anyway, he had some of his private stock wine collection along, and invited my kids and I to sit with him. Dylan took a sip of my glass of a very very dry Red Bill had poured for me and cringed. (much dryer than the worst cheep Merlot, but the body and the texture was exquisite) Bill mentioned to me, (in whisper of course) that when Dyl is old enough, to inform him that he'll get laid more often as an adult, if he's knowlegable of his wines, and to warm Meggie to beware of men who are as such...LMMFAO.
