Netscape/AOL email problem--ARRGH!

..anybody else having problems with the recent switch from netscape to AO-fucking-L E-mail, PLEASE o PLEASE respond.
I can't log on to my old account... I did manage to get to my email yesterday, but today it's all hosed up.
I REALLY need to download some attachments to my Netscape email (which I've used without problems for several YEARS.
--I don't need smug LINUX comments (biteme KIRK & opus--  ) and I shoulda took yer advice, I guess. But, the reality is that my livelihood depends on some of this stuff in my account and I CAN'T GET TO MY FREAKIN' ACCOUNT. All my settings are CORRECT, but this new switch has me bamboozled...
come on, throw me a bone, ya webbies...... I promise to send ya a BRAND FUCKIN' NEW POCKET PROTECTOR ...

Here's a suggestion......drop it all and go CABLE!!! If that's not available go with something other than that...we have COX and it's wonderful...very rarely have trouble!!

This won't help you until you can log in but will save you next time:
Open a gmail account ( Google, if you need an invite let me know) then forward all of your email from the AOL account to the gmail account. Then set up POP3 access to your gmail account from your email client of choice and download all of your email to your client. If you set up AOL for auto forwarding to gmail, and set you email client to auto downloading from Google, then you will have 3 copies of your emails in 3 different locations, so you can access them if one service or your PC goes down.

tanks paul... I didn't know I needed an *invite* to get on GeeMail, (and I'm not sure I want to join a club that would have me as a Member...line stolen from Groucho)
so..invite me?
I tried forwarding my mail using the dad.ratted.flaming.AOL forwarder, but I ended up spilling my cocktail when I had to squint at the dam' monitor to find shit between the advertising,,,,, which pissed me off and I quit tryin'.......
why do THEY have to change shit that WORKS? When I get my mail transferred to some other *user-friendlier* system, I will be on a crusade to end the miserable existence of the terroristic-freedom-hating-Islamo-fascistic-liberal-conservative-tattooe d... IDIOTS who cram this crap down our throats....
