Hey y'all! So I went to the doctor today and had a little surgical "procedure" done...yes, I'm still a woman! Anyway, I had to have a biopsy done by a L.E.E.P. Little nerve racking considering they put this big sticky pad on my leg as a grounder for the electrical current...WTF?! I will get my results back in two weeks...why in the hell does it take so long? They are testing it for cervical cancer. Not that I want everyone all up in my anatomical kool-aid, but I could use a few prayers from the rest of my family. Thanks for everything...love you all!

Dear Steph.....I feel like I know you since you became a part of this family and have become so involved. I like your posts and sense of humor.....so let me say..... toots, I've had a few scares in my day and I know how you feel and what you and DJ are going thru while waiting for results. Group vibes and prayers really work....they're LOUD and do get through. Praying for you and waiting to hear good things. Hugs, Donna Har

Steph, I had first stage cervical cancer between the births of Dylan and Megan. If you want someone to talk to about I'd be more than happy. They sure have come along way with the biopsy proceedure, they did a punch biposy of mine. 3 of them actually. Don't be afraid to PM me. Pegg to add: I just took a look, and they have even reclassified the stages since my diagnosis, and according to the new criteria it was CIN3.

| I had that same LEEP procedure done almost 10 yrs ago. They took out so much cervical tissue I was warned I might have trouble carrying children. And I did have early cervical cancer. 10 yrs and 2 kids later I have not had any recurrance of the cancer or cancerous cells. Keep you chin up, it's stressful and scary, but atleast from my experience everything turned out fine in the end as I'm sure will be your case also.

My wife, being a DES daughter, has been through a number of these, along with numerous D&C's and a few other things I can't even remember. It's a scary time, but the docs have so many tools at their disposal. My greatest hope is for you to have peace of mind during this time of waiting. You are in our thoughts and prayers, Steph. Bill

Yes, the waiting is the worst. Been there done that - too many times to count. I had type 3 dysplasia for years - in fact I never had a normal pap result through most of my adult life. Please remember that what will be, will be; and no amount of worry or fret will change it. Take it one day at a time and try to keep your chin up - and lean lean lean on DJ - that's part of why God made them with strong shoulders!. Feel free to PM me if you need more specific support or information. We will pray for you and your family.

Thank you all so much for all the thoughts and prayers. I may be overreacting, however they told me it was moderate to severe...the "happily ever after" stories have helped my mood! THANK YOU again, from the bottom of my heart. Y'all are so wonderful, knew I could count on each of you for a special prayer in your hearts. Everything will be ok...gotta convince myself of that. DJ has great shoulders to cry and hold on to. My number one cheerleader!!! Humbly, Steph &
