Maxwell David came into this world, a little earlier than hoped, on July 15th, checking in at 5 lbs 15 oz and 21 inches long.
Here are a few pictures:
I think I’ll just hang out here for a bit …
OOOPPPPSSSS!! Do farts have lumps? No?? Then I just shit my pants!
Where the hell are my reading glasses??
Wait a minute .. I’m trying to get that finger up for a proper Jonny salute ..
It is HARD work, keeping a flake like my Dad in line .. I think I’ll just take a nap here to get ready to start again …
Ya know, Moms are kinda comfortable to cuddle up, and sleep on .. They have these nice pillows to lay on, doncha know

OMG he's gorgeous..........I mean handsome  And teeny tiny wow. What a great name his parents picked! Ya'll calling him Maxwell, Max, Maxie? I love a name that's nicknamable! And yes I'm happy now! Pics of my two little devil children to follow soon!

Welcome to the wonderful world of grandparenting, Chuck - it totally rocks.
Before you know it, you'll be able to zip him up with sugar and enjoy watching him bounce off the walls until it's time for his parents to take him home again. Absolute serendipity. 
Word of caution though, you do also need to be prepared for your heart to totally melt with each milestone he hits (WAY more than your own kids, trust me), especially when he first calls your name. Stock up on kleenex and keep your camera batteries charged at ALL times.

Oh and as a side note..........I already had baby fever. Now after seeing those precious pics it's worse than ever!!!!
(not to self....the kids are outta diapers, the kids are getting independance, never forget those sleepless nights)
