Two of the banks involved in my recent ID theft have suggested that PayPal may be the culprit. Both banks told me that PayPal more and more is becoming the common denominator in unauthorized account debits.

I've got to ask Does this mean (since you had your ID stolen) that you're going to be a different person now or does it mean you won't exist? Inquiring minds and all that Hugs BD

| X2! When I spoke with PayPal on the phone, they didn't seem that interested that my money was gone. More like, yeah, it happens, we will investigate, blah, blah, blah. Have a nice day, please fill out the survey that we will send in email. Bastards!

Last week someone called on our "do not call list" saying they were from paypal and wanted us to know that our account which we secured with our credit card had been suspended because of suspicious activity. They said no money had been removed from the account, however they needed a new credit card number to keep it in good standing and wanted the info. My wife didn't do it and called paypal and they said no phone calls or suspicious activity was on her account. Scam Scam Scam, be careful folks, they get better and better, they knew her name and all sorts of other crap. Trust no-one with your birthday, or social security number, EVER Sean........................................

Back in March I started receiving emails from what appeared to be Paypal saying my acct needed updated. I didn't have an acct so I ignored two of these msg's. Then I got one saying I owed them for a shipment that I did not have anything to do with. Paypal told us on the phone that these didn't come from them and is a pure SCAM. Don't click on to it even though they look about as real as it gets. The from addrss shows 'service@paypal.cm'. Hackers I say! Good Luck & PFDAN, Skyhawk5, Don S

I mentiond this not long ago.....but I closed...cancel'd....ka-pooted my paypal account last fall and found out it is still active.....I bout shit !!!! I got tired of the wierd emails and sum had alot of info even tho I KNEW they were scams and spoof mail. So I closed my paypal account and forgot about it. Then I bought sumthin cheap on ebay and didn't realize they prefer'd paypal so for the 'hell of it' I went thru the pay now thru paypal motions and to my suprise it went thru !!!! Huh !? So how the hell do you REALLY close an account and know it is history ?? Kinda worryin me with all the ID theft goin on. Not a pal of paypal Pam

I got a lot of the Paypal scam e-mails. They look pretty convincing but if you check the URL, it isn't Paypal. Same goes with the credit cards. -P.
