Just got my Canon 20D DSLR. Wow, what a camera! Probably more than I need but the price was right.

Nice pics. It is a nice camera. Very versital and has decent battery life. You will appreciate the bells and whistles the camera has as time goes on. Sigma makes some decent lenses for it and they are good quality for the buck. -P.

I am sooooooooo jealous! I have the 300D DSLR and I'd so like to upgrade, but don't have that kind of money (I'd really like to have the 5d). Canon has some nice lenses that won't break your pocketbook. I don't even use the kit lens anymore. I have the Canon Normal EF 50mm f/2.5 Compact Macro Autofocus Lens, the Zoom Normal-Telephoto EF 55-200mm f/4.5-5.6 USM II Autofocus Lens and the 430EX Speedlite E-TTL II Shoe-Mount Flash. Plus filters and filter mounts. I am soooooo jealous! 'darlin

I got the 20D because it would work with the Canon EF lenses that I have from my EOS650. I have a Canon 70-200mm w/Macro, a Canon 55mm, a Sigma 28-80mm, and the Canon EF-S 17-55mm that the 20D came with. I really wanted one of the EF-S USM lenses but they are soo damn spendy! I got my 20D set up from Beach Camera for $1130 including shipping. I didn't think that was that bad of a deal.

Nice clear pics (of course I love the cat one too).....I have onea the first digital camera's that came out....it's big fat and heavy and takes real grainy pics with crappy quality but it's better then nothin for now. Called a Poloroid PDC700.....least I THINK that's the correct name cuz the duct tape left a tape mark.....bottom won't stay on and keep the batteries connected so ya gotta squeeze as hard as ya can while takein a pic. Duct tape ain't workin....and then my hand starts to shake squeezein too hard too long. Probly be easier and clearer if I just drew a pic of whatever I was lookin at. A real hillbilly camera if I ever saw one Pam Sumday I am gettin a new little one but one a easy to use SIMPLE one ?
