Aunt is in Hospital

We knew soon after my mother passed away last fall that her sister was Dx with cancer, advanced, and there was little they could do. On top of everything else, this last few months have been hard for her, and she has now been taken to the hospital. When she leaves there it won't be to go home. They think 2 weeks. I just got the call.... I'll be going to the hospital, same one Mom was in, to see here after work tomorrow. Most likely it will be my last time. Please pray and/or send vibes for a peaceful passing, as there is no more that can be done, nor does she want it. Not sure I'm prepared for another funeral...

Very hard, Pegg. I've been down a similar road with people I cared about. Sincere hopes for the well-being of your aunt, and for your well-being as well. George

Ah! The foreigners put on such airs Wearing the tangerine suits And their harlequin eyes. The pain they inspire Draws in harmonica melodies And the feathers of birds Which flame up at their touch. It all comes to light in the sheer Debonair. (Ellen)

It's rough. My mom died in January. She was tired and she was ready, which helped me but not my siblings, nieces, or two of my daughters. I'll be thinking of you and praying for you. What is your aunt's name? Charlotte

| Janet Szulczewski Her husband Joe passed away about 13 years ago. (I was still married and Meggie was just a baby) from skin cancer. My Brother Kevin and I would spend summers out at their farm. There I learned to milk cows, gather eggs, go hunting for oak mushrooms and wild asparagus. Hikes down to Ten Mile Creek to go swimming or through the woods which long ago was part of an Indian reservation at the turn of the century, and sleeping out in the haybarn. Eleven cousins from that family. (She and Joe were busy...in more ways than one.) Memories of good times. My brother said Janet is looking just like Mom in her last days. I'm not sure how I'll take that, but I hope well. Thank you guys for your well wishes. It means alot to me. Pegg

You got it Pegg... O God of resurrection, who raised Jesus Christ from the dead, I pray to you on behalf of Pegg, her family and her Dear Aunt who is dying from Cancer. May she know the comfort of your presence, the power of your love to give life even in the face of death, and the hope of your salvation. May she find comfort and peace in her last days. May she be blessed with the presence of family and friends to banish her lonliness and fears, the love of those who care for her to ease their pain, and know that she will always be remembered by those who she have loved. All this I ask through the one who died for us that we might live, Jesus Christ, our Savior. Amen. LadyLuv
