Interesting, but I had a conversation with a fellow clusterhead in Milwaukee (not from the USA) about the fact that the US is always involved and giving money away to other countries, and how it goes to waste, never getting to it's intended destination for whatever reason, warlords, thieves, bribes, etc., and we can't even help our own people.

Now why is that? Why do our people have to live in poverty, and can't get/ afford any medical care? Can't afford to feed our own children? Why is that? (Don't get me started.)

This whole tragic story can adds up to ONE thing if you read the history.

The victorious nations did one ONE horrible mistake back in 1948 when they did create the state of Israel

They did forget about the Palestinia

And if you are able to see how the world have treated the palestinians since that date you might be able to see things differently

The best buddies of the US have destroyed power stations, bridges, water works, roads, have made thousands of people homeless, have killed hundreds of children and women - all on the pretence of killing some Hezbollah fighters.
The 1/4 Billion Dollars are nothing more than a feeble attempt to make amends for the atrocities caused by their protégés.

In the past 30 years the US has vetoed 34 UN resolutions that criticize Israel and seek to restrain its behavior.

Don't you think we should look at this as a major contribution towards the growth of Islamic terror organisations?

As I said in another post, WW2 changed many, many things in the Mid East.  Europe's fingers were on the redrawing of boarders as much, if not more than the USA.

WW2 was a catalist for the USA to go from a mostly rural society to an energy dependant one.  We used the oil and were able to convert it to fertilizer, pesticides and became the world leader in food production.  We still feed much of the world.  People seem to forget that.

The best budies of the US reacted to an act of war, to bad the Hezbo fighters have to hide behind women and childred, otherwise they wouldn't have been killed, they should have left the area when Isreal told them too. BTW who are you normaly on the board, to where you have to hide behind a psudoname? Afraid to let your real views to be seen ?

There were 39 not 34. Here ya go, take a read. Isreal is a tiny nation surrounded by millions of its enemies. I don't condone all their actions but I do understand them. When you are the size of RI and your enemies equal the size of the US you better be the bad boy on the block. The UN is as anti semitic as.  Add @msn.com to my screen name and you have my email if need it, I don't know why you would because I don't say anthing to anyone here that I would need to hide in  an email.

most of these resolutions were vetoed because they did not mention why Isreal took the actions they took. Mainly being attacked...........

BTW old timer.....there is a paypal button at the bottom.
