Topic: Diaper cake anyone? (Read 504 times) |

 JUST KIDDING
I learned how to make these today. Each cake has 50 diapers that are a size 1. This cake has silk Wisteria adorning it.
I'll (hopefully) be selling them as a balloon option for the hospital's maternity ward. (and I might donate one there from time to time)

Can you order a version with used diapers? Maybe to someone you really want to send a clear and smelly message to that you aren't going to put with their shit anymore......

These are WONDERFUL!! My Aunt actually made a "cake" for me at my baby shower made out of blankets, onesies, washclothes, etc. It's a great idea and very creative!

That's pretty, Mel. Just be careful and don't let this get away on you. Corinne's friend made one for Savannah's shower and it cost her nearly $300 once all was said and done. Wasn't much bigger than the one you posted but she added all kinds of stuff to it, teddy bears, brush and comb set, gift certificates, etc...it can add up so quickly! She figured it would cost her just under $100 but....yikes! 
The last baby shower I was at, they played this game:
It's called "Guess the Diaper Contents". It was real special, let me tell you.
They melted different brands of chocolate bars into diapers and then passed it around the circle so everyone could smell (but not taste).... and whoever guessed the most correct number won some stupid prize. Even though we knew it was chocolate, it was still kind of icky. LOL Times have sure changed at baby showers!!

I have it pictured in my head! Black floral ribbon, black roses (I think I can find those), an "Over the Hill" pick to stick into the top... yup, I see it now!!

Ok, I am going to call them "Over the Hill Incontinence Cakes". How does that sound?
I'm going to pick up some, uh, incontinence undergarments from town and the supplies I need from the craft store. I was thinking of having them sent with either a latex or mylar "Over the Hill" balloon or with some other cake "topper". (I'll figure it out eventually)
What do ya think?
