Granny among the wounded....

Just got back from ER. The kids and I went out to dinner tonight and I was walking to the truck, tripped over one of those concrete thingys that are in the parking lot. Hit the parking lot (concrete) face first -- my nose is not broken but is about five times it's normal size. Tore a rotator cup, skinned my knees and got a concussion. Other than that I'm just fine and dandy.
We ended up doing the whole bit -- ambulance and all. And yes, I know who the president is! Can move my left arm, but it's not broken.
I was yelling for pain meds tonight and am still hurting like hell.
Ok, I'm whinning big time right now... I may be off the board (or maybe not) depending on how sore I am tomorrow. Right now Mr. Ice Pack and Granny are going to bed.
Hope ya'll have a pain free night.

Oh that jus really had to HURT.........broke my nose a while back noddin out at the computer desk and was sittin my my feet in the stupid wheelie chair cuz my back hurt......started to nod out and chair takes off and face SLAMS onto desk.....knocks me back out so I hit the floor. Or there was the time I fell off the dryer and broke my foot a while ago......that never did heal rite. The things we do for pain Pam 
I did my rotor cup damage when not letting go of a running horse and fallin bein drug hangin onto lead rope and collar bone meeting mister big bumper of mr BIG truck we flew past. Rotor cups can be a stinker after damageing........hope ya feel better quick !!!!!!!

The last I heard gravity was working just fine and should be for quite some time. There is no need to test it. Just have to trust me on this!
Sorry about the spill. Just thinking about your nose and rotor cuff makes me say O.U.C.H. Been there and it isn't fun. Rest up and take it easy. (Motrin)

I've got a headache, but it's not CH (think its concusion).
Think I"m just getting too old for these "mishaps"....
Back to bed for me... as long as I lay still.......And there's not a darn thing on TV - ughhhhhhhh.... I don't do incapacitated real well.....

My son has called the state agency that "inspects" those concrete thingys and told them to get something done before someone "blind" gets hurt. He thinks it's built in the wrong place. I think Mom shook him up when she fell.
Anyhow gotta get better -- have a meet and greet in Atlanta Saturday.
