They nailed 21 bastards who were going to carry bombs on carry-on luggage then blow them up over parts of England and the US..............I remember when the police in England cornered 2 terrorists at their homes and made them walk outside totally nude, so as to protect them from consealing anything.                They have been watching these 21 people for a few months and made their move to stop them today !!!--I am extremely impressed !

They would consider dying for the cause an honor. Their picture would hang in reverence on the walls of their families homes as a martyr. Let them rot in jail for the rest of their miserable lives.

I agree with Steve.  Dying in that situation would be too much of a tribute.  Let them rot in jail & live long life sentences plus 1 day.

I hope they catch the rest of them

My mom called me about the same fear for me.  I'm flying over 2 days after 9/11.  I guess this means I can't carry on my toiletry kit anymore or even a bottle of water!  I hope they will still serve drinks on the plane, however, because that's a long time to go without some kind of fluids!  There will probably be an even greater chance that luggage will not make it...

I'm glad they caught them, but now I'm nervous about flying over!

Well, DON'T be scared to fly. I flew to London two days after September 11th in 2001. That meant 4 security checks, but no delays. Now things are different.

I'd be just one annoyed traveller right now, because I just heard that flights from Helsinki to London and New York are either cancelled or hours late.

And why? Because passangers have, goodness sake, packed alcohol, facial cream, shampoo, perfumes and other liquid stuff with them! Roll Eyes Thank heavens I'm not flying anywhere right now because my Red Bulls would be taken away from me! Shocked

In fact, the news informed me that passangers to UK cannot even take their HANDBAGS to the plane, just their tickets and passports! Oh come on! Angry Too bad they're not kidding...

Now, I understand that security is security, but this is taking things few steps too far. I need my lipstick, chewing gum and notebook! I never travel anywhere without them. Sure this experience teaches people to, hmm, travel lightly...

Steve is correct... to kill these low lifes would be a honor.. Real punishment could only come if they are allowed to rot in prison while performing hard labor.

I am so very glad that they were caught before they could kill anyone.

Peace & Blessings

I'm now listing to a special report that states Air Traffic @ Heathrow is backed up for hours and that there is a possibilty that more people are involved in this plot.

Thank God for the disruption of this plot.

Matt Mary and Lizzie, none of you need be afraid, the airports are scrupulously checked over and you'll be as safe as you can be anywhere.

More drinks than you can handle are served on flights so don't worry about that and check the TSA website every day for updates nearer when you fly for what you can and can't carry on.

You're coming to me anyway, there's a limit to what you'll need!  Grin

I flew four days after the first London bombings coming to the US last year, security was tight but it was very reassuring.

We're going to have a brilliant time, you've got more to worry about from me than any terrorists, I'd sort those little buggers out if they spoilt my plans!  Wink

Can't wait to see you all!
Helen
