 You never heard of pimento cheese?  You can buy it at the grocers...Jackie makes hers from scratch.
It's yummy on a sandwich, or with crackers
If it's a "southern thang"....I don't know...My Mom always had it for us when we were kids. It's really good!
Jackie's is much better than the store bought.

Just learned something here...
Pimiento: The sweet pepper, of which the fruit is used as a relish and for stuffing olives.
Pimento Cheese: Cheese made from processed Neufchatel curds, cream cheese, or cheddar with"pimientos" added.
Hmmm....guess 'pimiento' isn't 'pimento'.... But I put pimiento in cheese to make pimento cheese....
I'm so confused....
