However, I can tell you that I have never made any racist or truly bigoted remarks with the exception of making fun of Pep's slippers in Spanish.
I am a firm believer that because I am Jewish, I have absolutely NO right whatsoever to think that way in the slightest since Jews are hated more than any other group in the world.
There is nothing worse according to many.
The only thing worse by KKK standards would be a Black, Gay, Jew. I feel bad for my cousin Ira.

Been there before.
It seems strange now, Mel so disconnected from reality. Babbling tangents coming from beyond beyond, as I'd term them. Seen them and did them. Make no sense, crazy subject, usually unremembered. Alcohol problem at that depth. Rock bottom can hit hard.

Where is it that you draw the line? How far out of line can a person be before you decide to do something like Eric and not see his movies anymore?
Its not like he made an accident, like if he puked on someone.
He spoke at length of his hatred for the Jews. When Mel Gibson loses his inhibition, he spews hatred for a group of people.
Thats just wrong, and like Eric, I dont want to support him.
I am proud to say that of the $500 million dollars Mel has made in the last decade, I didnt give him one dime!!

I finally caught up with this story. Since I have, the thing has been on cable news six million times. Someone said this kind of thing may be a career buster and that alcohol is a better revealer than concealer. Pretty sad.
Every year my partner in crime head to a Ohio collectible show where we run into an older friend that refuses to go to Stephen Spielburg movies because he is a "liberal Jew." He also hates basketball because it's full of blacks and that all sports are getting "too ethnic."
A few months ago, I met a man that came to collect some billheads that he won from my ebay auction. About the third thing he said was that he was a white supremacist. My having blue (at least they were blue) eyes was a good thing.
They are everywhere. I do not know where it comes from. Aside from stupid, it's boring and it's such a waste of precious time. In any case, I've met too many for my taste.
