We're pretty eclectic in these parts. A small sample as an example: Everything from old CCR and Black Oak Arkansas to Evenescence, Smashing Pumpkins, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, and Keb' Mo'. I'm a huge Santana fan. Lots of Jazz and Blues. Lots of Cajun stuff, since EJ and I got hooked on Zydeco when we were at Mulate's in Louisiana some years ago. (Mulate's. Yo!) Shelves of "classical" and baroque music--Haydn, Mozart, Bach, Scarlatti, etc., etc., etc. Shelves of opera music. None of the German stuff except Mozart (can't take Wagner seriously since Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd did "Kill the Wabbit".) We had Cavalleria Rusticana and I Pagliacci running last night. My daughter always calls I Pagliacci "When Clowns go Bad", after Gary Larson. That, and my daughter's old canary, who's decided to start singing again. (You've got to like animals to have my kid in the house--she has 2 canaries, 30 tropical finches, 2 gerbils, 3 cats, and 3 chickens in a coop in the back yard. We could start our own Ark.) Best, George

Ah! The foreigners put on such airs Wearing the tangerine suits And their harlequin eyes. The pain they inspire Draws in harmonica melodies And the feathers of birds Which flame up at their touch. It all comes to light in the sheer Debonair. (Ellen)
