The front came down from the north instead of the west like it always does.

The wind is blowing a little...

...the sky begins to churn...

and finally, we have rain!!...

Honey, I know.  That's how it was for the St. Louis area last Wednesday.  My boyfriend lost power last Wednesday night and just got it back yesterday afternoon.  Trust me, St. Louis area had about 500,000 homes without power, it was horrible!  Especially since Thursday was around 100 degrees.

Well, I'd say I'll blow it on down for you, but then I'm 100% sure I'd get picked on for those choice of words.

Kewl!  I can see my hometown on that radar map!  The hellhole I live in now don't have any good storms... All around us get big winds, killer lightning, and boomin' thunder, but all we get is 5 minute rain spits, a little thunder from lightning that flashed like half a minute ago, and one or two gusts strong enough to pick a cart corral up and throw it across the parking lot.  I should move to Florida... Maybe a good cat 5 hurricane will blow through and cheer me up.

Nice pix Mel. Interesting to say the least

Here in western NY things are weird. Not one mosquito so far. Very unusual but it has been dry enough and I'm not complaining.

They also believe we had some kind of tornado here. Last one was 1945.
