My turn, I guess ...

What can I say, that others have not said, in a MUCH better and more elequent way than I ever could? I wish I had been able to stay and witness more of the features of the weekend, but the beast didn't want me to. I appologize to all for my abscence for so many of the events. Especially to the officers and BOD for missing most of the meeting, I am sorry. One day, hopefully in my lifetime, NONE of us will have to go thru these hits, but until that time, I will carry on, and dwell on the time between hits, and try to ignore the actual hit. And with the AWSOME work being done, under Donna's leadership, OUCH has GREAT things in its future! Keep up the GREAT work! I WILL live life to the fullest during my PF time. It was fantastic to see all those that I have already met before. I always LOVE seeing all y'all! And to the new people that I had not met before, I am SO glad to meet you! As usual, it humbles me to see the love and unconditional support that each and every one of you give to whoever needs it. It is SO impressive! For a change, there are NO VERY embarassing photos of me!!! Well, ONE or two, I would be happy to see disappear, but over all I tried SO hard to be a good boy!!! heehee ... Svenn, Bente, and I are in the Washington DC area for some sight seeing, and, seeing that I AM here, I just MIGHT swing by the hospital and see that newest addition to my family .. My GRANDSON!!! He is three exits away from the motel I am in right now. I suppose I could also say hi to my son and daughter-in-law, while I am there ... After all, I WILL be right there visiting my Grandson ... BTW, I refuse to start mentioning names, and thank/greet each of you. Being as old and senile as I am, I will forget too many, and then get ya pissed at me for fogetting you ... So I won't go that route! I will try to get more coherent thoughts together once I am back home, and can settle down and compose myself ... KERAP!!! I am getting all kerflempt ... That damn smoke is getting in my eyes again ... Chuck PS: Hi Theresa!! Luv ya gal!!!

Chuck- I don't know what it was, but I felt like you were more at ease around everyone this time, than you have the times before. Heck, even I felt more at ease around you! You know I love you and I completely understand about how you had to be absent for a spell. I am SO excited about you being a Grandpa now and cannot wait for you to share pics of Max with us all! Now ya listen to me here sister, I want you to stick around the boards now! It pains my heart when you are gone for so long. The bond between us all is so strong that if one of us does not check in frequently, the rest of us feel like our lives are not complete. Got it?? Good! I love ya Chuck and look forward to the day I can see that smiling face of yours again! mel
