My turn at this

I just wanted to give thanks to everyone who set up, ran and took care of every little detail at MilCon. It was a major rush seeing all of you there, very emotionally overwhelming even. I am still trying to get over the fact that I can't walk out my door and see all of you. Each and every one of you have made a lasting impression on me and are always going to be in my thoughts. I don't think I can ever express how much you all mean to me. Rori-thanks for being the great conductor of the events, even though you were upstaged by Zeke. Lee-thanks for being there and shooting the bull. Remember, Chef's need some secrets! Thomas-thanks for being the brother I never had. I know I can count on you. Andrea-thanks for everything. You made me feel so welcome and it is like I've known you forever! Steve Harris! Carol-Don't smack me! Thanks for being my adopted Grandma! Donna-Have a seat, get some rest...HIGH 5! Jackie & Blake-You two are awesome. 'Nuff said! Pegg-thanks for the hugs and for being you. Bill-stop with the flash pictures already...LOL! Take care of that shiney! Anita-thanks for everything! Helen-thanks for being there. You just made the whole place come alive. DJ and Mrs. DJ-Thanks for giving us a place and for making it possible for all of us to have a home. Svenn-thanks for the great presentation and the awesome cheese. Dr. Sewell and Dr. Halpern-thanks for giving such a great presentation. With your help, we WILL move CH to a KNOWN condition, instead of being where we are today. Jim, Jonny, Chuck, Bob, New Charlie, Old Charlie, Matt, Ben, Michael, Linda, Richard and who ever else I forgot. Thanks for the great conversation, good times and for being yourselves. Sometimes when you meet people from Internet Boards, you find that they are all E-personas and not who they really are. I didn't find that at all at MilCon. I've rambled on enough now. Thanks for listening

Tom, I'm sorry we didn't get the chance to talk more. It happens to me every year that I always miss out on getting to know someone better! It was great meeting you though, and we'll have to set aside some time for next year, sound good? mel

Tom, I really enjoyed talking with you too. Now about that potato salad formula. Seriously I would like to give that one a go sometime. Lee

It was great meeting you again Tom. We'll have to plan another outing sometime soon. Maybe we can do an Octoberfest with our WI peeps.

Tom oh you big galoot! Meeting you and your wife was wonderful, I'm lost for words but I think you know. Your wife is such a lovely lady and I wish we had all been able to sit down and just chat for hours.. not that that would have been enough! Get her on the board okay? I'm suffering withdrawals already and I can't make it through the year without a "fix"! (((HUG))) You're a special couple and I'm so glad I've met you in person at last Helen xxx
