I'm home. I wrote this little list on the plane, because I couldn't get the thoughts out of my head and didn't want to forget it later. Then when I was done, I thought, how could I ever forget! So just some keywords heard in Milwaukee, and things that keep popping up in my head: Mozambique, the BUSH Urdu & Impala "Beef Jerky" The Amazing Kids in Red band players (sorry Lizzie can't remember the name) Brewcrews fabulous band and the Friday FeSt Dr. Halpern's comedy revue Mel's Balloons - "Fly me with balloons!" "Ouchians" (Dr. Halpern) (Mast) Lilliputians and the "Land of OUCH" Bottle cap goggles - Pic to be posted! Zeke-O - thanks for the last dipey kiddo LOL Bittersweet Goodbyes And Last but not Least...... HI FIVE! Donna D... my sis.... Blake... Limey... you guys are PRICELESS!! More later... I better get back to work Pep EDIT: Thinking back on this past weekend - something was different. I don't know what it was, but it felt like this group was injected with new life, a new force. I don't know if any of you felt it, but I have been going to the conventions since New York/ Watertown and this was definitely different. I know many of you don't know me, and perhaps got to know me a little better at Milcon. I just want to say that it was a privilege and honor to meet all the new folks, more so than you think. I hope you felt welcomed on my part, I felt a bit pulled in all directions and I'm sorry if we didn't get to talk much. It takes a lot to have faith to walk into a group that you don't know, and much less have any idea what their reactions will be. However - this is a unique group one that you can call family when it comes down to the nitty gritty, no matter what political arguments and rat drama of life interfere. When the going gets tough, the tough put 'em up! This one little weekend will be a big memory in your book of life if I read things right. For those of you that I've already met, I just couldn't wait to see you. DD my sis, we talk almost every day, but there's nothing like being in the same room together. I admire your drive, and love you dearly. Jean, Jackie & Blake - don't know why, but I felt a special bond with you all this year, and I'm welling up so I can't explain it. But thank you for your comraderie, it means a lot to me. Woobie, Ramon, & your young'uns- its had been too long and your girls are beautiful. I miss youse already Rori, your level headedness helped keep me on track and smiling, which is hard to do when you're not so sure about yourself. Thank you for being you - and a big hug to Zeke for contributing with his morning smile! Beeyul, that danged camera just caught the worst side of me and if you weren't your mischievous self, well, I wouldn't love you any less. You're the best! Goodness, shall I go on? I could be here all night saying to : Nani, Lizzie, Chuck, Svenn, Bente, Jonny, Broomie, Gena, Thomas, Jaz, KOP, Mel, Mast (Lilliputians ), Deej, Limey, Rickyshot, E2, Michael, Jimi, Ruthi, see now I'm forgetting names, my braincells are gone... how much I treasure you all. I say God works in mysterious ways. I don't have CH, and I thank creation for that. I thought I was passing through. And maybe I AM just fuckin' Goofy But I am the luckiest person I know to know this family, that just keeps growing. It is my privilege to do what I can. And that's the God's honest truth. And now I shall go wring out my t-shirt. Big Love, Pep

If there is one person who has given whatever she can to helping so many, and never asked for ANYTHING in return, it's you Pep. | Mel.. That's really sweet of you to say that and I appreciate it. As for the driving - woman you should talk to Beeyul about driving racecars or something. Better yet, you could make a fortune as a cabbie in NYC. LMAO I love you too woman, you're one hell of a person to know and I'm lucky to be in your company. Pep

Pep, You're right...something was very different. I have not a clue what it was...but I know it and felt it. There were so many new folks there this year. Most of them had never met another sufferer. I thought maybe that was it....but, I don't think so. The bond was tighter.... It was phenomenal. You never have to explain your feelings, Pep. I understand how you feel. Today was much better for me than yesterday...damn I hate the leaving. Thanks for all you do...it's really appreciated. Love ya, Jean
