Personally, I wish everyone a "Happy Independence Day." When I hear "4th of July," it just sounds like another day on the calendar. But when I hear "Independence Day" it reminds me and others what the holiday is really about, namely freedom from tyranny.
But I know your heart is in the right place, and I thank you (from the bottom of my independent heart).

Brewcrew is right, 4th of July is just to PC for me as well, like at Christmas saying happy holidays instead of marry Christmas.

it is a cliché but I do believe in it…….. and all the problems you have or don’t have at home in the USA, well as I do not pay for it (TAX), I have nothing to say about it…. its your business… the same way I wouldn’t like you to tell us / me in my country how to run things…..
