I got the call that I got the job at the Journal!
WOOOOOOWOOOOOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!!!!
I go in on July 7th to negotiate the pay scale and bennies, start the 10th or the 17th that has yet to be determined.
Thank all of you for all the great vibes and energy and prayers.
I feel much better about life again!

I did, Jimi, thats why we aren't sure if I start the 10th or 17th.
Medical, dental, optical, 401K, profit sharing, will have 5 vacation days and 3 sic days available for the remainder of this year after 30 days probation, after one year is 2 weeks vacation 7 sick days 3 personal days. no weekends no holidays. and guranteed 500/Mo commission for the first three months.
Straight 8A to 5P.
I'm pumped!!!!!!

You should have see Meggie and Dyl, standing in the hallway hands poised in applause waiting for me to hang up the phone. I was on a errand to get smokes and eggs when Dyl called me saying Tammy had called and needed a call back asap tonight before 5pm. I was NOT expecting to be offered the job this soon... they said at least two weeks before a decision was made.
Ahhhh the power of confidence and positive thinking and the love of a great family behind you.
Helen you are tops in my book! I CAN see that grin...and what will be nice is that when unemployment lets the old hacks know I'm off their roll, and where I'm working, they'll eat their shorts anyway!

I have my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary to decorate the weekend after the convention in Spooner. After that, I had planned on placing a small ad in the Buyer's Guide, but now that you'll be working for the Journal, well...
