More money than sense?

I saw a google ad here that advertised World of Warcraft "Powerleveling" for $199. I thought, "No way," and clicked on the link. This was friggin serious. http://www.brogame.com/powerleveling-c-453.html I'm thinking someone needs to step away from the computer and get a real life if they are willing to pay that much money for someone to increase the level of an online gaming character. Sheesh! Maybe they will hire me to come change the channel on the television for them.

I used to play the online game EverQuest. I leveled a char as high as you could get him then sold my account for 600 dollars on Ebay. It paid to play LOL

| The dead giveaway for me is when a person's desk chair is actually a functioning toilet.

They have sweat-shops in SE Asia and Mexico where people toil in front of computers day and night to build up credits in these on-line games/universes. The man then sells the credits to people in the U.S. and Europe.

| Really? I think they could've hired my grandson and his friends to do it for arcade tokens.

| Hey Nani, what about some pizza and mountain dew? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtual_crime (scroll to virtual sweatshop) I guess its like fishing - you can pay someone a few dollars an hour to work long hours under poor conditions, or you can charge some one else many dollars to work a few hours under the same condtions. Either its a bad job, or its great recreation. What's Next? People paying thousands of dollars a year to watch other people exercise a few times??

My genius boy, one of the twins, has been playing that game since he was thirteen, straight. He's 17 now and has scholarships to three Universities. What do I know?
