Be thankful

Bow down to DJ when you see him for creating and keeping this place alive for you ch'ers. I went looking for a migraine support board and found nothing anywhere close to this board. Most of those that I saw reminded me of sitting in a doctors office (or seeing the doctor). No comraderie, no joking or even any since of *togetherness* (not the word that I'm wanting, but can't think of one now). On one forum that I visited, all posts have to be preapproved (not no, but HELL NO).
The ONLY think that I took out of any of these places was that I was not going crazy or developing early onset Alzheimers when I had trouble remembering words after a particulary bad bout with a migraine (it's quite common).
So, thank DJ for all that he's given you with this board. Then thank each other for taking care of *family*.

It is up to YOU to educate yourself and then help your doctor plan your treatment. If you just sit down in front of your doctor and say "make me better" you are setting yourself up for a great deal of pain.
