I was just looking at the site of the hotel and noticed that they have a hot tub next to the swimming pool. Just wanted to remind everyone to bring their bikini's (I mean swim suits) Roll Eyes

Unfortunately, I cant go to the convention, but I would like for people to do a test for me.
I always say that the heat of a sauna or a hottub triggers a CH for me.   I can do like 5 or 10 minutes, but not more than that.  Other people don't seem to have the same problem.

Now, I am not wishing that anyone will trigger a CH on purpose, but I am curious to see if other people get triggered by the heat.
I know that some people say a hot summer day is not good for them, but how about the extreme heat of a hottub and the raising of the body temp?
Anyone?

Thanks a lot

Its OK Monee,

We didn't want to see you in a bikini anyway! Grin

Not sure about the hot tub trigger for me. I don't think I was ever in one while in cycle.

Sorry - Every time I put on a bathing suit I end up with a harpoon in my side. I think it's the big, white belly. I will have to respectfully decline.

Nope you're not alone B$, I have the same problem.
About 6 or 7 years ago I found out the hard way that hot tubs are a big no no for me.

In my humble opinion, I think that hot tubs are a totally different sort of trigger than is the weather related heat and humidity.

I have been in hot tubs and not get triggered.  High heat and humidity is partly the result of barametric pressures.  Storm fronts moving in or passing out.  These DO trigger me, be it in the form of full on series of hits or never ending shadows which loom just as heavy as the black clouds in the distance.

Have been having some odd patterns to our storm fronts this year as well, as they tend to swirl in from the north rather than ease in from the west as usual.

Guaranteed trigger for my hubby too - while in cycle only though.  Mike couldn't sit in there longer than 5 minutes without getting hit.  It makes sense though, heat increases your blood pressure and that's a no-no for clusterheads in cycle.

Big part of the reason we sold our hottub a few years ago.

The ad went something like this:

1 man, 7 woman hot tub.

It sold the first weekend.

Odd that you mention that. I was out of town last week end and the hotel had swimming pool/hot tubs. I went into the hot tub for a while before I went back to the room and had a screaming head before I got back to my room.
