To be fair fr a minute though, footie is a relatively new game to you guys, its not one of your mainstream sports and to have qualified for the World Cup, knocking out other teams form countries where they are passionate about football is bloody impressive.
The US team did well to get to the Worlds.. its no dishonour to have been knocked out now. Your team deserve the recognition for their achievements to date 
Now I have to go and kick a small child or let down someone's tyres to get over having said something nice about a)football and b) to you!
