Melissa I am so sorry for your loss. She is with god and her husband now and I am sure they are watching over you right now.
It is hard to deal with a loss such as this but try and think of the good memories and celebrate her life and remember that she is in a place free of pain and is reunited with the love of her life.

Thanks so much you guys. Once again, Eli's birthday will be nuts. He turns 3 tomorrow, and we can't have a party for him until July 9th due to Jesse's brothers wedding on Saturday, rehearsal tomorrow eve and now the funeral. It was also a year ago tomorrow that I lost the baby, so things are somewhat topsy turvy.
I appreciate everyone's kindness, as this is hitting me a lot harder than I expected.

That's quite a load you're bearing, Mel. Please take time to feel it. Begin the mourning, so the healing can begin. There is a lot of sadness tied into all of this, and I wish I knew how to help you.
As for Eli, he's 3.... he will have a wonderful celebration...and many more to come. What he needs right now is to give YOU some comfort.
Now, about the mean...........REALLY, Mel! Who are you kidding?? Be sad, be disconnected, be silent...but mean just isnt your style.

Yeah, I suppose you're right Jimi. I had no clue who they were (getting to know them wise), and for them to keep treating me like I was one of them, was difficult for me to understand and made me feel uncomfortable. I am just sad that it has taken this long for me to mature and understand the whole thing. It has only been in the past couple years that I've sent cards and pictures to them and invited them to our family functions. Grandma was already sick by then, and I wasn't sure if she knew what was going on or not.
Now my Aunt Mary and Aunt Susan are alone. I am worried about them and want to include them as much as possible in mine and my kids lives.
Is late better than never? I hope so.

Hon it is NEVER too late.Your two aunts will have the joy of knowing and spending time with you,Jessie and the kids and your Grandma will be watching smiling from heaven.About the anniversay of the Loss of your baby I will be praying for peace for you.April 15th is always a sad day for me.10 years ago we lost a baby to miscarage a week before our wedding.talk about an emotional roller coaster.It will get slightly easier but you will never forget the day you lose your baby.i just hug my girls tighter and thank God everyday that they are a part of my life and healthy.doesn't take away the longing feeling but does lessen it a little.
