This weekend we will be playing Ozark Bikefest 2 at Zoe campgrounds in Salem, MO on friday and saturday. We will be starting both days off on the stage followed by Frank Bang's Secret Stash, Eat A Peach (Allman Bros tribute), The Schwag (incredible Grateful Dead tribute) and Saturday night will be headlined by Jimmie Van Zant. This should be a great bash so if you are nearby and looking for something to do for the weekend - this is it! For more info on this show checkout: http://www.theschwag.com/ozarkbikefest2.html This past saturday was my inaugural gig with Hairzilla in Rolla, MO. It was the bands first gig there, and we had several glitches including... the soundman skipped town and ran off with some of the clubs equipment. We had to use our P.A. (which is our monitors onstage) for our front speakers, and had NO monitors or soundman. There were many, many hurdles. The opening band didn't show up, etc. It didn't matter. We thought it was a trainwreck as a band, but the crowd ate it up and we rocked the place down! Afterwards, the club owner told us we were the best hard rock band they ever had there, and was begging us back for 2 more gigs at higher pay. He also runs a biker bar and wants to book us there too. This has turned out to be a bigger gig than I originally thought, and I am so pumped it's sick! I hit the stage Saturday and it was like I had never been off of it. The band was impressed with my showmanship, and the fact that I actually hang out with the crowd afterwards (apparently the last drummer and guitarist were too good to hang with the fans). What I didn't expect was all of the people wanting our autograph. Doc said they get that at every show. This is actually 2 bands! We are booked as HAIRZILLA for the covers, but record originals under the name THE SWINE. The first big song the band has is American Swine, and have plans to hit the studio in the fall. I could go on and on. I am so excited that I have to sit on my hands to keep from waving at everybody! Carl "Mack Danger" D.

My boyfriend's favorite band used to be Eat A Peach, they usually play in the Alton area, but they had to change their name because of the other Eat A Peach, who's playing at your Bikefest. I forget what their name is now...they're not bad.

Way cool !!!!! It'll be a blast and a life long expireince......those bikers sure do know how to party Pam We just seen a 'Journey' tribute band........this one town has Rally in the Alley every weekend and has a different tribute band........there's a Greatful Dead tribute band and all sorts of them comeing up.....we esp wanna see the band called "Wish You Were Here" Pink Floyd tribute band. Tribute bands seem to be a big deal these days......and it's nice to see a big party band that's members will actually pay attention to the crowd or hang out with them. Anyone ever hear of the Burnt River Band (there from Ohio but used to play at all the BIG bike rally's from here to out west includeing Sturgis........the lead singer Stanly is a friend of ours......so I was just curious) Good luck Carl..........show em how it's done !!!!! And have a good time doin it !!!!!

| Will do Jimi. Getting myself ready for tomorrow. Brought my guitar to work tonight to restring it and then will be up all night stretching them out. We leave a.m., have to be there by noon to set up and go on at 5pm both days. My next chance at any sleep will be tomorrow evening after we play. First thing I am doing when I wake up saturday is going swimming and after we play I will be hanging out and checking out the rest of the show. This is gonna RAWK! Peace, Carl D

| LOL, we'll be playing the after hours party for Uncle Ted on July 22nd in Hillsboro, MO. Just taking a break here. My client is listening to MCR in his room, and I just nailed a couple more solos note for fucking note. I never bothered learning any Dokken, because I never could stand Don Dokken's voice. I thought it was wussified! Give me Maiden, Priest or Metallica any day over that shit! Only 2 left on this list to learn and I am good to go. I will have them down before I leave work and be practicing up all night to get it tighter than (insert your favorite euphemism here). Yeah Matt, that is one thing I love about a steady gig in music: I do what I love and jump around like a fool onstage, party and hang with the crowd signing autographs and they pay me to do it. Can't beat that eh? I may be starting a 3rd job in a week or so laying carpet twice a week (one of my old trades). Trying to get as far out of the hole as possible in case things go down the tube which, as I've learned, can happen within a breath and heartbeat. Headin' Out To The Highway, Carl D
