Embracing the Pain (new tat)

Deciding that I needed to embrace the pain of my cluster headaches as part of what makes me who I am, I got this new tattoo yesterday. I told the artist about my clusters, and mentioned voodoo/rag doll with needle through eye. He came back with this. I was really happy. Great shop. Great artist. Great time. Highlight of my trip to hawaii. Casey

It is up to YOU to educate yourself and then help your doctor plan your treatment. If you just sit down in front of your doctor and say "make me better" you are setting yourself up for a great deal of pain.

Tats are not for me, but that one tells the story nicely.

Thanks everyone. I had a good week in Hawaii, especially with my head. For the most part, until the last day and a half, the clusters left me alone. Slammed me that last bit, and have been relentless since we got back. But, if you're on Maui, and want a tattoo, I would highly recommend Keavan at Skin Deep, in Lahaina. Mom and dad were wrong - tattoos are fun. Casey

Very nice work Bro. I like the shading on the voodoo doll to make it look tattered and worn and old and a bit dirty. Though it's only my personal opinion, I feel part of the pleasure aspect of tattoos is in the endorphine flood while under the needle. It can get downright addicting. Pegg
