Fantastic clarity and detail Paul. I always love how you catch great positions and posing with snakes. The mushroom looks like you caught the ants doing atomic testing in a remote part of the forest floor.

Thank you, Paul! I really needed a beautiful, close-up view of nature today. I've missed your pics - so glad your camera is better now. So get out there and sell a few to National Geographic! Just think ... you could retire puters and take pics full time. Hugs, Kris

Hey Vig, you have a gift. Thanks for sharing. Reminds me of my childhood when we went down to the river to dig sand for the garden. About 3 feet down we uncovered a hibernating toad. Looked like porcelin until he blinked. Mom and Dad got sand for the garden, I got a pet. Had a great time with him, catching bugs for dinner (him, not me)and contemplating his otherworldly serenity. We shared some time and then let him go, cuz as my folks said (and one of my better lessons), he doesn't belong to you any more than you belong to him. I SWEAR he winked as he hopped into the hedge. Regards Jon

Beautiful pics, as ever! I'm a big fan of toads--have a couple living right out the back door under some flower pots. Thanks for brightening my morning with your great shots.

I may have posted this one already but it's worthy of a reprint. I snapped this one while camping over Memorial Day week end. I found the alternative, non drug treatment for ADHD. That's my daughter in green in the background. She was trying to figure out why we and the boys parents were laughing so hard we were crying.

AND.........Paul has generously agreed (after much arm twisting by me) to donate one of his beautiful pics to the auction at the convention. He's sending it to me and I will put it in a nice frame. Linda
