You know it's been a long day when:
You get frustrated because you can't find the index at the back of the dictionary.
Your magnifying glass, used to read the world's smallest blurry numbers, sits in the sun and scorches your important papers.
You begin to think, "If I stay here all night, I just might get close to catching up...."
You start to wonder what the opposition was on when he wrote his report.
You forget you have to use the bathroom.
You're ready to bitch-slap the coworker who's sitting on her butt reading a book.
Calculus would be easier than the crap you're trying to calculate.
You look forward to going home and (ugh) cleaning the house.
You actually debate with yourself about whether or not you have time to take a smoke break.

Boy, today I can relate to that one.
Driven about 150 miles, met with clients and took care of a four year old all day (If I hear "Granny" one more time today......!!!!).
Now I'm back at home (with the four year old AND his dad) cooking supper for them all. But they're tired - they "worked" all day.
Oh well, tomorrow is another day at the funny farm.....
Thanks for the laugh - I needed it right now....
