No wonder so many people say Google's search engine can find Anything for you! 1- Go to www.google.com 2- Type in "Failure", without the quotes 3- Instead of hitting "Search" hit "I'm feeling Lucky" 4- Look at it and laugh at what comes up 5- Tell other people before the people at Google Fixes it

This begs the question .... why you were typing the word failure into Google in the first place missy? Linda

I know that this was put up as a goof, so I told Google what I thought... Quote:Very funny that the failure search turns up President George W. Bush at the White House web site. I'm in stitches...I'm glad that you think that a sitting President is a failure and let the whole world know. When President Clinton was in office, did a search for blowjob show his name? Would have been kind of fitting don't you think? |
| Sorry, about my lack of humor today, but I'm really feeling like crap. Calgon take me away.....

| Google bases search rank on a formula - one of the most important factors is the popularity (the number of links to a page) The simple truth is that there are lots of links with the anchor text "failure" pointing to the White House page on Bush. Would it make you feel better to know that Michael Moore comes in fourth place?

This is a Google bomb from last year Many web sites and blogs used the words "miserable failure" as a link to George W. Bush's biography resulting in Google indexing The web site as the number one result for those words. I'm surprised it is still up. Any group can do this. For instance if we all put on our websites a link to Chewie's homepage ( that is if he had or could make one) using the words "Meegrainer" to represent the link, you might be able to make the search for meegrainer come up with Chewies web site. | Chewy's website homepage is growing but forming slowly, still under construction. Maybe googled under "what the..." Website's windows based and he has paypal hooked up.

| It's bad in it's own little way...kinda like waking up with CH about 3 hours before you are supposed to get up, then waking up with another when the alarm goes off...one of those days.

| The only thing worse than Republicans and Democrats is when the work together. One party brings up: "We've got a really shitty idea," and the other says: "Great, and we know how to make it shittier,"----basically from Lewis Black. Charlie
