Two months ago my wife went for an annual exam , and since then we've been riding the hot seat. Her doctor wanted her to get further tests, and the news kept on getting worse. We set the date for May 30th for an operation that would either prolong our agony or clear things up. I never asked for prayers because everybody has things to pray or hope for . We decided two months ago to continue to live our life one day at a time. We vacationed, and my wife went on her business trip to London and China. The fear was ovarian cancer , and things didn't look very good, but we held or heads high and we prepared ourselves for every angle. Ginny was operated on Tuesday and the Doctor decided to remove her ovaries and Uterus, so I just thought the worst. Ten minutes ago the Operating Doctor called to tell us that everything was benighn. ( My spelling may be off, But I'm just delighted !) NEVER GIVE UP HOPE.

It is up to YOU to educate yourself and then help your doctor plan your treatment. If you just sit down in front of your doctor and say "make me better" you are setting yourself up for a great deal of pain.

Happy for you both that the news was good. Sorry though that you felt you had to sweat that one out by yourself. Support my friend, support - that's what the good folks here do regularly. Best to your wife and wishing her a very speed recovery. In the meantime - brush up on your cooking skills, dusting, laundry, vacuuming - you know the drill!!!!! Carol
