I am sooooooooooooooooooo sick of this bitch in my office....I have had it up to my eyballs w/her attitude....I bend over backwards to help those around me, its just the way I am...even her....and I get things slammed down on my desk, I get the nose in the air (literally, the nose goes up in the air!) the dirty looks, this woman has no reason to even remotely dislike me...yet, every day, its the same thing and I am wearing soooooooo completely thing, and my CH is ramping up, should be full blown in 2-3 weeks....I cannot take this woman anymore! My husband says I should throw a joint underneath her desk where someone finds it and get her fired....right now that sounds like a GREAT idea! Okay...done venting April

Yeah, I've got one I have to share an office with. He's a gum-popper/finger-drummer... ... until I snap and give him a swollen Medulla oblongata via the rolled up phonebook I plant in the back of his head. -Big Dan

| Not smart, fun to think about but those kind of things usually backfire. Just stand up to the jerk and ask her what her problem is.

There was a gal who worked in the front office of my last POE who was just like that. Very bitchy, uppity and unfortuneately married into the family business, so getting rid of her completely was not an option. However, in order to make things a bit smoother around the office they did get her set up and networked into the office puter system from her home so her presence at the office was cut down to twice a month, and just long enough to make photo copies of the paperwork we sent to the Corp Attorney. She was still making matters bad by sending internal nasty notes to people and delaying work on accounts for people she had grudges against. There is a HUGE part of me that is glad I don't work there anymore.

Talk with her and see if there is some reason for her actions. If you can't resolve it with her then talk with your boss about it. The operative word being talk, not complain. The doobie is a real bad idea. -P.

True the doob is not a great plan but everybody close your eyes and pretend it is a guy acting the same towards her then what should she do? CHenz especially respond to that Question and be honest as you and I know what you would do if a guy acted like that towards a CHen. Get creative ok! Mike

Walk up to her desk and just ask her what her problem is with you. Tell her that her attitude makes it clear that she has something going on and you would like to know what it is before it gets to become a bigger problem. Most people act like that because people don't question their actions, they just let it go. If you don't confront her it won't stop. Matt

Thanks for the advise (I would NEVER put a joint under someone's desk for revenge, not the person I am, its just fun to think about!) As for talking to her, bowing up to her, not backing down, talking to the Boss man...DONE IT ALL...don't know why the fuck she's still here, I've done everything short of putting her under constant surveillance...so she's obviously not going anywhere anytime soon...so what do you do, gotta feed the family right?

| Tell the boss that she touched you in an inappropriate manner. Strike up a sexual harassment charge against her. Super glue all of her crap on her desk in the exact spot it is in. Have a case of KY and a sex toy delivered to her at work. Get her email address and put her on every porn list you can find. Take her chair and put it in a different cube every day. Take all the TP out of the bathroom. Cover her car with packing tape... You have to be creative to screw with someone. Yes, everyone the doob was a bad idea, but I think it was a goof. Sometimes you have to be silly to get through stuff...let's not condem the thought. Next, someone will hammer Big Dan for wanting to smack someone in the back of the head with a phone book...lighten up people.

Skip the stooping to a lower level. What has always worked for me is the direct approach, like others have mentioned. Just don't attack, just state how you feel, which you have a right to do, and chances are that will get her to stop. When I take the high road, the people on the low road looks stupid. And the stark contrast of me being seen on the high road (by direct, open, honest dialog with no need other than to state my feelings and then quit the dialog) they suddenly realize that I've not joined them and they are sticking out like a sore thumb usually makes them be very, very quiet, very very fast. And even if it doesn;t work you will feel better to the point of not caring at all what others do around you. Most the time it is just pent up feelings that want to be let out and I'm just as mad at myself for letting a bad situation happen to me without reply as I am at the opposing person whostarted the thing in the first place. Say your piece from your point of view, feel better, and never care about the conflict again. You win either way. Jamey

I'll bet she's jealous......so even tho I can't give good advice it's one to consider to console yerself that's yer cool and she knows it.....or maybe try playin a little bit of role reversle and beat her at her own game Pam If ya can't "beat em"(literally I mean) join em kinda deal......by that I mean treat her the same way she acts around you and freak her out and 'emphasize' how you see her acting back at her. (or act crazy and scare the hell out of her so she runs to get outa yer way which is MY kind of thinking and doin)
