you can skip this because, I am going to whine

Life bites. I get hit big time. After hours and days of angonizing over the job opportunity in Miles City, I have to decline because I simply do not have enough MONEY TO TAKE THE FRIGGING JOB! How much sense does this make???? I can't afford to take a job that pays more money... WTF???? Then to top it off, some scumbag breaks into my car yesterday!! G'DAMN IT ALL! I work 2 jobs to try to make ends meet and I have some scum try to rob me??? The only good part is that I don't have anything that I could leave in the car anyway, so all they could take was some clean napkins. The car has a stock am/fm radio, so they didnt bother taking that. But it might explain why the scum left the doors wide open in the rain, to soak the seats. We know who did it, but because we cant prove it, they get away with it. The cops even know the scumbags by first name! Great justice system. How I want to block the doors on the place and toss a few Molotov cocktails on the place. Fire is the best way to clean out an infestation of vermin. I would be doing the world a favor, and the way the justice system works, I would be the one to go to jail, even tho these scum have rap sheets longer than your leg. I feel like I am having a major hit, thinking whywhywhy, what did I do to deserve this? I am so frustrated I could kick in a wall. I don't dare, because with my luck, I would break my leg in 12 places, rip it open and require 300 stiches, then have to fix the wall and pay the emergency room cost of $1100.00 before treatment, not be able to pay it and have may wages garnished, in which case I would be living in a box next to the river. Thanks for allowing me to whine and gripe and bitch and scream and curse and rant. God I am frustrated!! I feel like a bug in a spiderweb with no way out. A job I hate, a neighborhood I hate, a house I love. If you have read this far, better say some prays for me, as I am this close from finding a lead pipe and bashing in heads. Some people tell me it will get better. I hope it happens soon, because I am losing it. dragn

Lance, I really understand where you of you speak. I'm not comparing, just venting as well, since we all have things to vent about and misery love company sometimes ya know. Remember back in March when I cut the f*ck outta my thumb? Well there is quite the irony to the situation now. You see, before I lost my job, I worked in the field of debt collection. The vast majority of the clients we had were medical facilities. So anyway, here I have an emergancy room bill for the stiches, no insurance. Was planning to get the bill paid off in payments over the course of 1-2 months, but due to an emergency dental visit that I had to pay up front, plus other financial issues I won't go into here, the money wasn't there to pay it. Now that I lost my job, I get the notice that the bill has gone to collection, lucky it's not at the agency I was employed at. (They aren't one of their clients). I had been working on my credit for many years to clear up different matters such as ID fraud and the like, because I had hoped to make what little money I make work for me, rather than toss it out the window by buying a home rather than rent. Now, with no job, collection account, and probably more and more late payments on things unless I find work real real soon, I'll be putting off that house for another few years. Did you know, landlords want better credit history than do mortgage companies? Sometimes it seems like no matter what we do, how good of people we are, that shit finds us and sticks to us like glue. I've come to believe that much of this is fate's way of protecting those who simply do not have the mental or emotional capasity to deal with the crap in life. So those of us who are strong enough to take it and overcome it, get the lion's share. Hang in there Lance, we all get threw these times in our lives. Ever need to talk, I'm just an email away. Pegg

Lance, When I get this way (and I do more often now than when I was younger), I take a drive out in the woods and yell at a pine tree. Sometimes I beat the hell out of that damn tree (hate pines anyhow). Be sure you're alone in the woods when you do this (I wouldn't mention that if it hadn't been a "problem" in the past). Try this = it gets a lot of frustrations out of your system. Or you can go to a driving range and hit golf balls -- name the darn things -- makes me feel a lot better. Hope things look up soon... Hugs BD

Lance, After sending messages to you, I actually wanted to tell you not to take the job but I didn't think it was my place to do so. I hope I helped at the least. As for the car, it reminds me of my senior year in college when I went to my car in the morning at the end of 1st semester to load it up for the 6+ hour ride home (by myself). When I got there, my car had been broken into, a rear passenger window was smashed in, and the steering column was busted. The good news was that my battery was dead so they couldn't steal the car. So, I took a basketball program and tape and covered the window, got my car jumped, and started my trip home. 15 miles into my journey I got to a toll booth and as I drove off, I rolled up my window to find out they had derailed it and it left 2 openings in the top corners of the window. So, for the last 6 hours of my journey I had a 1/5th open drivers side window in 10 degree weather, no windshield wipers (for the light flurries), and my high beems were on and couldn't be turned off. Anyway, I can tell you that my personal life at the time was WORSE than the condition my car was in at the time. So, I understand what you are going through. Keep your chin up, a smile on your face, and I'll be praying for you that you get some GOOD NEWS SOON. Hopefully, like I do with my story, someday soon you will be laughing telling the story of this week.

Pegg, You need to stand over here by me. As bad as my situation is, yours is worse. Misery loves company. I hope and pray that your situation gets better soon!! Brian, Jonny, Jas, Jim, Michael and Charlie, THANK YOU Barb, I put in a blood and guts computer game and killed bad guys all weekend. It helped a great deal! Thank you Barb. My Montana Vet, I can't even afford to stand downwind of Borries, much less go inside Fram. Our chats in email have been very helpful, and as your post proves, insightful. I Thank you for the story, as I can relate to it well. We all have good and bad in our lives, and it always seems to pile up on you all at once. Helen, my friend, Thank you sooo much. I hope you are correct, and am hoping you are again pain free. Lance

Lance, if you consider getting MS certified and want some insight let me know, maybe I can help. I got my MCSE + I a few years back and I don't have the current stuff, but maybe I can help steer you in the right direction or something. Jamey
