Question about next years OUCH Convention

Does anyone know if next years convention location has been set yet?
If not, why don't we consider New Orleans? The city does need help, and tourism is a good way to help out.
Just a thought. Having one in the south might help some people to be able to attend also. Flights are pretty cheap flying into the area.

Woohoo...Chocolate City, here we come! Actually, I'm voting no. Even though I live in Chicago where the humidity is bad, I've been in the south during the time of convention. I was in San Antonio during last years convention...I thought I was going to die! The air was so humid it looked like it was raining! NOLA in December, I'm all over it, July...blech...

Nashville is considered the South. (It's below the Mason Dixon Line)
There was a NY convention so the east was coverd too.

So long as it's in January. Been in Dallas in July now. Yikes!
I vote Niagara Falls. Canada is prettier. Gambling on both sides of the border and the humidity from the horseshoe falls is nice and cool.

Nani's right. It isn't about where to have it. I would love to have one in the Bahamas. It's about who is willing to volunteer to help work on it.

I'd go anywhere too - I keep telling Beeyul he should organise one the weekend before/after one of his race meetings so we could all attend both - now I think that would be alot of fun!
For me the attraction of the convention is the people there, where it is is secondary (although somewhere I can fly to non stop is preferable!)
