....trex, ice, cold and hot showers, banging my head against the damn wall and today it JUST WON'T STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pulling all of my teeth out with pliers sounds REALLY TEMPTING right about now. I've lost the nosepiece to my glasses and I have no clue which headbanging place I lost it at and probably wont be able to find it in the morning. I just want to SCREAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM at someone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hate to vent but it's better than yelling at my kids who wont go to bed and just let me bang my head in peace (?)
God help me, I'm sick and tired of hurting.

Thank you for telling us... I'm so sorry that you're hurting. It's much, much better to tell us than scream at your kids. Besides, it's not really venting; it's being honest about what's going on with your ch fight right now.
You know that I'd suggest everyone to give Red Bull a shot...

A big thank you to all of you.
Yesterday was particularly gruesome for me as far as CH was concerned. Started getting hit when I went out to get my daughter from school around 3pm..the intense heat, coupled with the fact that the air conditioner in my car is broken, triggered a series of headaches that were some of the most intense one’s I have had in a long while.
I was getting hit 45 minutes on, 45 minutes off, 45 minutes on, 45 minutes off…..and nothing was touching it. This went on until 4am this morning.
I finally was able to freeze the beast out of my head by taking a zomig nasal spray and then taking every bit of ice and frozen food out of the freezer and literally surrounded my head, neck and shoulders…I am surprised I don’t have frostbite on my ears and cheeks this morning. Seriously. (
(OH, and frozen burritos…well, I found out they fit pretty good in the crook of your neck.)
Last night when I posted I was at my wits end and just needed to vent. The kids were trying to help but really just ended up getting yelled at a few times unnecessarily.
The beast claims many victims, sometimes, unfortunately, it is our kids That is the hardest part about having CH, kids and being single…there is no one there to act as a buffer or a distraction when it’s head banging time and sometimes, you just don’t have the strength to get them out of the room before it gets full blown.
So far, I’m ok today, (but I dare not speak to loudly) So, tonight, head willing, I will take the kids out for a fun dinner and try to make up a little for last night.
Sometimes it helps just knowing that somewhere, out there, people really do care when you are in pain. Thank you to everyone…you really did help me get through this and not feel so alone.
